A new natural history education solution

AMIGANSEAU IMMERSION

Turn a Meta Quest headset into an immersive, collaborative experience. The diver explores the Mediterranean seabed while a trainee naturalist accompanies them on a tablet to identify and classify the species encountered.

A shared experience, from headset to tablet

AMIGANSEAU IMMERSION combines an immersive headset, one or more tablets and the visitor’s smartphone. While the diver explores the Mediterranean seabed, trainee naturalists follow their observations in real time and classify the species encountered by their living zone. The experience then continues with a natural history logbook available on a smartphone for 30 days.

The visitor’s journey

1

Instant connection

The visitor scans a QR code or holds their smartphone near an NFC chip. No account is needed.

2

Choose a biotope

Through the headset, they navigate four environments: sand, seagrass meadow, coralligenous habitats and wrecks.

3

Interactive dive

They watch natural history diving videos and interact with the species observed.

4

Naturalist mission

The species observed by the diver appear automatically on the tablet. The trainee naturalist must classify them by living zone: surface, pelagic, demersal or benthic.

5

Observation quiz

Each video includes a multiple-choice quiz to strengthen attention and recall.

6

Natural history logbook

The species in the video appear as thumbnails within an interactive sphere.

7

Species infographics

Each thumbnail opens a concise infographic with essential information.

8

Send to smartphone

When leaving the application, visitors receive the species they actually viewed.

9

Available for 30 days

The logbook remains available on a smartphone, with Express species profiles.

An immersion that becomes a naturalist mission

A space for observation

The headset immerses visitors in the Mediterranean seabed and encourages close observation of the species encountered.

A collaborative experience

While the diver watches immersive videos, the trainee naturalist receives species on a tablet in real time and must classify them by living zone: surface, pelagic, demersal or benthic.

Active learning

The experience combines observation, identification and reflection. Participants do more than watch the sea: they learn to understand how the underwater world is organised.

A personal natural history logbook

At the end of the immersion, observed species are sent to a smartphone in a natural history logbook available for 30 days.
