The bogue is a slender fish with a silvery body, easily recognised by its large eyes and rounded head.Its back is darker than its flanks, and several golden lines run lengthwise along its body.It often forms large shoals that move through open water in a coordinated way.WHERE DOES IT LIVE?
The bogue lives in open water, generally above different types of seabed: rocky, sandy or coralligenous.It occurs from a few metres down to several tens of metres, sometimes deeper.It moves vertically through the water, often approaching the surface at night.WHAT DOES IT EAT?
