WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
This marine worm lives in a calcareous tube that it makes itself. At its end, it opens a red to orange crown arranged in two fans forming a U-like shape. This crown consists of many thin filaments used for breathing and catching food. In danger, the animal retreats very quickly into its tube.WHERE DOES IT LIVE?
It is attached to solid supports such as rocks, coralligenous structures or boulders. It occurs from shallow areas to greater depths.WHAT DOES IT EAT?
