WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
Cloudy damselfish reach 7 centimetres. Their white-to-beige body, broad front dark band and pale tail help identification. Secondary markings and shades vary, so several features and the overall shape should be considered together.WHERE DOES IT LIVE?
Found in the Indian Ocean, including the Maldives, it inhabits reefs at depths of 5–40 metres. Branching corals shape its living space. Its presence here does not mean it occurs in every tropical sea.WHAT DOES IT EAT?
The documented diet includes small invertebrates, zooplankton, eggs and algae. Local availability can influence their relative importance. Living beside coral is a habitat association, separate from a feeding relationship.GO FURTHER WITH AMIGANSEAU
