WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
This elongated fish has a greyish-brown to beige colour, often quite inconspicuous. It has a broad head with large eyes and two barbels beneath the head, which it uses to detect prey. Its fins are long and flexible, with a very well-developed second dorsal fin extending towards the rear of the body.WHERE DOES IT LIVE?
It lives on rocky seabeds, in fissures, caves or wrecks. During the day, it stays hidden in these shelters and rarely comes out. It becomes active at night.WHAT DOES IT EAT?
