WHERE DOES IT LIVE?

This butterflyfish is associated with reefs in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. It commonly inhabits areas where coral growth provides feeding resources.

WHAT DOES IT EAT?

Coral polyps form an important part of its diet, alongside other invertebrates. Its snout allows it to pick small prey from reef structures.
