Role WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
The devil firefish has pale and dark stripes and long fins on its sides. The rays of these fins spread like a fan, while long spines rise from the back. The extended rays give it a broad silhouette; venomous spines should be distinguished from the soft parts of the fins.WHERE DOES IT LIVE?
Native populations use reef structures for shelter and hunting. Their regional ecological context differs from that of introduced populations.WHAT DOES IT EAT?
Small fishes and crustaceans form its prey. Controlled approaches and suction allow strikes at close range.GO FURTHER WITH AMIGANSEAU
