Video dive in Mediterranean
IN THE REALM OF PREDATORS
A dive just the way we like it at La Gabinière! This October, the weather is beautiful, and we have the western wall all to ourselves. Not another dive boat in sight. A rare privilege at such a popular dive site. Underwater, visibility isn't at its best. Rainfall over the previous days has left the water slightly milky. But that doesn't stop the encounters. Quite the opposite! Predators are everywhere. Dusky groupers, dentex, gilthead seabream and moray eels appear one after another as we explore the reef. Even a spiny starfish, a discreet predator of rocky seabeds, makes an appearance. A dive full of fascinating encounters, in an almost intimate atmosphere, far from the summer crowds. Once again, La Gabinière reminds us why it remains one of the most celebrated dive sites in the Mediterranean.
