WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?

This sea squirt forms colonies of small, rounded clumps grouped on a shared base. Together, they resemble cushions packed closely against one another.Its colour varies from beige to light brown, sometimes with darker shades. Its surface is smooth and slightly translucent.

WHERE DOES IT LIVE?

It lives attached to hard surfaces such as rocks, often on vertical walls or in sheltered areas.It is mainly found in dimly lit places, such as shaded areas or beneath overhangs.

WHAT DOES IT EAT?

It is a filter-feeding animal. It draws in water and extracts very small particles, such as microorganisms and organic debris.This water current is produced by tiny cilia that allow food to be captured continuously.
