Role WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
The Salema porgy is easily recognised by its silver body crossed by fine longitudinal golden lines. Its outline is elongated and slightly compressed at the sides, with a small head and a mouth adapted to grazing. It usually moves in shoals, making it very visible underwater.WHERE DOES IT LIVE?
It mainly frequents shallow coastal areas, particularly Neptune grass beds and rocky seabeds. It is generally observed between the surface and about thirty metres deep.WHAT DOES IT EAT?
