WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE?
This anemone has a thick, fleshy body, with a ring of short, sturdy tentacles that give it a flower-like appearance. Its overall shape is broad and rounded.Its colour is highly variable: it can be white, pinkish, orange or brownish. The tentacles are often slightly coloured at the tips. Like all anemones, it has stinging cells used for defence and prey capture.WHERE DOES IT LIVE?
It lives attached to rocks, walls or solid structures. It occurs in coastal areas and down to several tens of metres deep.It can be found in well-lit areas as well as more sheltered places such as cracks or shaded areas.WHAT DOES IT EAT?
